Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where you’ll be met and assisted through immigration, baggage claim, and customs. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will have a short briefing before you depart to Tarangire National Park. The park with its endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Your guide will open the roof of the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing. Hot Lunch will be served at around 12:30pm at the picnic site and after that you will continue to explore this incredible park.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge—an important archaeological site where Louis and Mary Leakey made groundbreaking discoveries. The Serengeti spans 14,763 km² (5,700 sq miles) of grassland plains, savannah, riverine forest, and woodlands. Located in northern Tanzania, it borders Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve to the north.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Central Serengeti, exploring the park’s diverse wildlife. Witness the incredible Great Migration (seasonal) and encounter predators, hippos, martial eagles, and resident species that thrive year-round. A picnic lunch will be served at one of the park’s scenic sites before continuing your exploration.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start the day with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM, a prime time to possibly witness big cat kills and other predator activity. Return to the lodge for breakfast around 9:30 AM, then check out and proceed with a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha
After breakfast, depart at 7:00 AM and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact caldera. Encircled by 600-meter cliffs, the crater floor covers 246 km² and supports an incredible variety of wildlife, from elephants and lions to large herds of zebra and wildebeest. If lucky, you may even spot the endangered black rhino. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha for your onward travel arrangements.
